Academic Courses and Tutoring

These courses are designed to provide students ages 14-18 with a high school level lab-based science classes (as required for application to most universities). Each course last for two semesters and are offered on schedule with the traditional school year.

Format

Courses are administered in a combined online and lecture format. Homework, labs, and exams will be completed at home and submitted to the instructor online. Every few weeks the students will meet together with the instructor. These meetings will allow the students to work on the more complex labs together and to receive additional help on the most difficult topics from the instructor. While it is highly recommended that students attend these sessions, the course can be completed entirely online if necessary.

Cost

The cost for each course is $160 ($80/semester). A textbook and lab supplies will also need to be purchased. The text will be available through Amazon and most lab supplies will be available at a store like Walmart if you don't already have them on hand.
